Is the Trainer an Image Consultant?

Yes she is! Alicia Kite has worked within the image business for over 30 years and loves sharing her knowledge so that all trainees on her courses gain from her vast font of current experience and benefit from an intimate training experience as each course is never run with more than 10 people.

What Happens Once I have trained?

You will leave the Academy with a huge amount of knowledge which will be backed up with an intensive training manual, which is extremely user friendly.  The Alicia Kite Academy also offers something quite unique, a forum for all its members, this is an amazing asset where all members can communicate with other Image Consultants, the user can ask advice and share their knowledge.  The forum is a stylist’s dream, a library where an Image Consultant can look up or request any information that will both support and enhance their business.

Where does the training take place?

Most training courses take place in hotels or conference facilities, sometimes feeling quite cold and informal.  The Alicia Kite Academy offers a unique experience, you will train in Alicia’s own home.  She has a purpose built training school attached to her beautiful home, the environment is professional but at the same time relaxed, a learning experience you will truly cherish.

 Do I Need to have had a career in fashion to be an Image Consultant?

Absolutely not, you need to have a desire to help people and a love of style to become an Image Consultant.  You also need to enjoy working with people and have good communication skills but Alicia will give you the knowledge and encouragement that you require to become a fabulous Image Consultant.

How Will I Learn?

Well that depends on which option you choose.  You may decide that you would rather study in your own home, home study courses are a fantastic way to learn to be an Image Consultant, you can learn in your own time and at your own pace, Alicia personally looks at each assignment that you complete.  You can feel confident that you are training to the highest standard and have the support of the Academy network and gain the knowledge to be an amazing Image Consultant.  If you opt to complete the in house training course you will benefit from an amazing training experience, it’s intense but offers so much in terms of personal development, this alone is felt to be a fabulous asset to the course.

Both the home study and in house courses offer a comprehensive training manual, together with a DVD showing Alicia undertake a personal wardrobe consultation, this allows the user to have an excellent reference both whilst training and after and Alicia feels is key to personal development.

Is The Alicia Kite Academy Recognised on the High Street?

Yes, absolutely.  The Alicia Kite Academy works with so many well known high street names.  They have close links with high street names such as Hobbs, John Lewis, Zara and LK Bennett to name but a few.  Bobbi Brown also comes to the training school and as part of the training programme demonstrates a make over, which Image Consultants find both beneficial to themselves and their future clients.
