Refund Policy

General Information

The Residential Course

To secure a place on the Residential Course you must pay to Alicia Kite® Academy a deposit of £500 (five hundred pounds). You must then pay the balance of the course price a minimum of 30 (thirty) days before the date the course is due to begin to guarantee your place. If, when you sign up to the Residential Course, there are less than thirty days before the date your course is due to begin, the deposit does not apply and you must instead pay the full price.

The Home Study Course

To secure a place on the Home Study Course you can either buy both modules together at a cost of £1,550 or you can pay for both modules separately at a total cost of £1,650. You will not become a qualified Alicia Kite Academy Image Consultant unless both modules are completed.

We will provide you with the Home Study Course pack within 30 days from the date we received your payment. The date we received your payment is the date your payment cleared in our bank account.

Both

The Alicia Kite® Academy will give you a receipt showing the date we received your payment.

Policy about refunds

Your right to cancel

We hope that you will be excited about starting your Alicia Kite® Academy course and do not want to cancel. However if, after you have paid your deposit for the Residential Course, the full price for the Home Study Course, or the full price for Module One of the Home Study Course, you do decide that you no longer want your place, you will be entitled to a refund if:

• You tell the Alicia Kite® Academy in writing (by a hand-delivered, posted or by email) that you no longer want your place on the course; and
• You do this within 7 (seven) days from the date you receive the Home Study Course pack (for the Home Study Course) or the induction letter (for the Residential Course) (“the seven day period”)*.

In relation to the Home Study Course, you are considered to have started the course if you have opened your Home Study pack.

What if the course starts within the seven day period?

If you start your course within the seven day period, the Alicia Kite® Academy will not be able to offer you a refund.

In relation to the Home Study Course, you are considered to have started the course if you have opened the Home Study Course pack.

What if I cancel outside the seven day period?

If you cancel outside the seven day period, the Alicia Kite® Academy will not be able to offer you a refund.

When will I receive my refund?

We will reimburse you as soon as possible, but in any event not more than 30 (thirty) days after the date we receive your letter telling us that you no longer want your place on the course.

Are there any other circumstances when I would get a refund?

You will be entitled to a refund if you do not receive the Home Study Course pack within 30 days from the date we receive your payment for the Home Study Course.
